The subject leader for Design and Technology is Mr N Neal and he teaches Resistant Materials. Food technology is taught by Mrs H Cullen and Mrs L Seabright, Graphics is taught by Miss N Barnett, Textiles is taught by Miss E Hawkins and Systems and Control is taught by Mr M Barratt.

 Throughout KS3 pupils will rotate through the different areas of D&T. During each visit to individual areas pupils will work on a set project which will both teach them new skills and knowledge. In year 9 the rotation is cut down so that time in each area is reduced - this is to allow pupils to spend the last half term in their chosen areas for GCSE before year 10.
