P.E.

At the Chantry we have a wide range of sports facilities, including a full fitness suite, climbing wall and excellent sports halls and pitches.  The outside sports facilities include three full size rugby/football pitches including one floodlit pitch. Other pitches include one hockey pitch, three cricket nets, and three tennis/netball courts. In the summer we have one 200m running track and two cricket pitches.

The subject leader for P.E. is Mr A Stone. Other teachers include: Mr J Hill, Mrs K Doyle, Mrs J Simmonds, Mr D Reynolds and Mr S Jowett. Non specialist teachers include Miss N Barnett and Mr Aydon.

Boys KS3 P.E.

In PE lessons pupils carry out a wide range of sports and activities such as football, rugby, cricket, basketball, Badminton, athletics and OAA.

The sports clubs include badminton, football, rugby, athletics, cricket, tennis, climbing, 5-a-side, basketball and more.

 

Girls KS3 P.E.

The Year 7, 8 and 9 girls are taught by Mrs. K Doyle and Mrs. J Simmons. In KS3, they do a range of different sports such as Netball, Hockey, Rounders, OAA (Outdoor Adventure Activities) and Gymnastics. The morjority of the sports we do in school are carried out as After-School and Lunchtiome clubs. The after-school clubs are run from 3:20pm to 5:00pm, and the lunchtime clubs are run from 1:15pm to 1:45pm. (Please see UNIFORM for girls kit list).  

 

KS4 P.E.
