Maths is an important subject in the Chantry. As a core subject, and a very important subject we take pride in our pupils progress when at the Chantry. The Maths team consists of

  • Mrs Hilling (subject leader)
  • Mrs Judge
  • Mrs Hayes
  • Mrs Edwards                                                       

KS3 pupils are in sets (temporarily excluding Yr7) they are taught 3 times a week. Every six/five weeks pupils include ICT in their maths work, using skills form Exel, to databases, to even improving their work using the computers. Pupils are taught in all main areas

  • Measuring an Data
  • Algebra
  • Shape and space
  • Numbers
  • Arithmetic
